October Fire Prevention
The Seaford Fire Department completed a number of fire prevention activities in October. The volunteer members conducted Exit Drills In The Home (EDITH) training at the Seaford Manor School and at St. Williams School. He children were taught what to do in the event of fire or emergency n their homes.
The SFD also held their annual Open House in conjunction with the Seaford Historical Society Harvest Fair on the front lawn of the Seaford High School. In addition to the EDITH training, community members had the opportunity to practice using a real fire extinguisher using our new extinguisher trainer. This proved to be a hit with parents and kids alike!.
A big thank you goes out to all of the volunteer members who gave so much of their time in October during the fire prevention activities.
