New EMT’s
Three members of the Seaford Fire Department recently passed the New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) exam. The exam followed nearly 10 months of intensive medical training in a classroom as well as in a clinical setting. The new EMT’s are Firemedic Jamie Robinson, daughter of Rescue Captain Pete Robinson, Firemedic Cathy Stellwagen and Firefighter Dave Kohler. The new EMT’s join a staff of almost 20 EMT’s, AMT’s and Paramedics who provide free emergency care to the citizens of Seaford 24/7.
